A Greening Healthcare post-conference workshop of the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference

GerwigThe Greening of Healthcare workshop was held on July 23, 2015 at Mission Bay’s Betty Irene Moore Women’s Hospital auditorium.  Topics included healthcare and the environment, climate change and health, environmental exposure for women and children, antibiotics and meat with break out sessions on reprocessing single use devices, reusable linens, green teams, sustainable food, waste reduction, anesthesia gases and climate change and a tour of Mission Bay’s LEED-gold certified hospitals.
